Miley Cyrus has no plans to tour her native U.S. because she is convinced American fans don't want to see her in concert and she wouldn't feel 'comfortable' playing to indifferent crowds.
Miley Cyrus is set to head out on her mammoth "Gypsy Heart" world tour in the summer, taking in South America and Australia, but she hasn't scheduled any dates in North America.
The Hannah Montana star has now admitted she is unsure about fans in her native country and fears they might not want to see her live shows.
She tells the Associated Press, "I just think right now America has gotten to a place where I don't know if they want me to tour or not. Right now I just want to go to the places where I am getting the most love and Australia and South America have done that for me. Kind of going to the places where I get the most love. (I) don't want to go anywhere where I don't feel completely comfortable with it."
"The Oprah Winfrey Show" episode which featured Miley Cyrus has finally aired Wednesday night, April 13. Instead of sitting for an in-depth interview with Oprah Winfrey, the teen songstress channeled her inner rock star and performed with Joan Jett.
The "LOL: Laughing Out Loud" movie beauty rocked out with the former member of all-girl band The Runaways, singing a medley of "Bad Reputation", "Cherry Bomb" and "I Hate Myself (For Loving You)". Miley served as the lead singer, while Joan strummed her guitar.
"It's something that's always meant something to me, just seeing Joan stand up for chicks who want to play the guitar," Miley told Oprah. The former Disney star auditioned for the Mouse House's "Hannah Montana" with Joan's classic "I Love Rock 'n' Roll".
Oprah dedicated the recent episode of her talk show to the Rock Goddesses of the 70's and 80's. It featured appearances from the likes of Stevie Nicks, Sheryl Crow, Pat Benatar and Avril Lavigne.
It looks like maybe Miley Cyrus can be tamed after all. The actress and singer was under the weather today, tweeting, "In bed sick today :( please pray for me." Some celeb BFFs, including fashionista Kelly Osbourne and celebrity blogger Perez Hilton sent their tweet support. Kelly even offered to bring Miley some comfort food, tweeting, "@MileyCyrus do you want me to come bring you soup?"
Most of young Hollywood was up and about today, however, including the cast of the upcoming Disney Channel Original Movie "Lemonade Mouth." Star Hayley Kiyoko tweeted her excitement about the movie's premiere, saying, "LA premiere today!!! Super excited to walk the yellow carpet with the cast :)" Fellow Disney star, "Good Luck Charlie"'s Bradley Steven Perry, shared his love for the movie's just-released soundtrack, tweeting, "Just bought the lemonade Mouth album! Its really good @bmendler707700 you guys should totally buy it!!!"
It's no secret that Gucci Mane has fans of all ages and color. His latest vocal supporter, singer Miley Cyrus, is just the latest to join the fray.
While aboard a flight Cyrus went on a Gucci twitter-thon, giving multiple references to the jailed rapper.
"Don't mind me just showin off muahhh grill with @gucci1017at the urrrport!" Cyrus tweeted showing Gucc's Source cover.
"So... In honor of @gucci1017 I was singing the Ice Cream Freeze on the airplane & Denika told me to shut up & I'm embarrassing her."
While Gucci Mane would sure to be honored by Miley's tweets he currently has much bigger things on his mind. The Alabama rapper was arrested this past Friday on probation violation charges after authorities claim he pushed a woman from his moving vehicle.
On the morning of January 28, the victim, a a 36-year-old Atlanta resident, was at the South DeKalb Mall when she was approached by a male driving a white Hummer who turned out to be Gucci Mane. The victim says Gucci asked if she wanted to get breakfast and she entered the vehicle after agreeing. However, once in the vehicle, Gucci allegedly offered the victim $150 to "go to the hotel." It is when she refused and asked to be returned to the mall that the rapper allegedly leaned over to open the passenger side door and proceeded to shove her out of the car, after several tries, while the vehicle was in motion.
According to the report, the victim "had redness on her left side/back area." Although she had never met the "Lemonade" rapper before, she stated that she was familiar with his music and "recognized an 'ice cream cone' tattoo on the suspect's face."
According to Mekka Parrish of the DeKalb County Police Department, the warrant stemmed from an April 1 court date, where it was likely issued. These latest charges may lead to another jail sentence for Gucci Mane, who was released from Fulton County Jail after serving six months of a yearlong sentence for a parole violation on an aggravated assault conviction.
Upon Gucci's release, he has a collaboration waiting in the wings that one of his fans are highly anticipating.
"You know what would be my summer jam??? @tracecyrus and @gucci1017 on a track together! HAYYY!" Cyrus tweeted.
